OEM is an abbreviation of 'Original Equipment Manufacturer' - in other words a cartridge from the printer manufacturer - like Epson, Hewlett-Packard or Canon. Compatible cartridges are brand new cartridges made by another company to meet (or exceed) the specifications and quality standards that you would find in the OEM product. In Auckland Inks Ltd.'s case our compatible range provides you with a great quality, great value alternative to the much more expensive OEM brand names.

You install our cartridge in exactly the same way as OEM cartridges. They are individually wrapped in foil and have a tab that you remove just like the OEM version. We do recommend that you use head cleaning or nozzle cleaning utility that is installed in every printer every time you replace a cartridge - OEM or compatible/re-manufactured.
No - you're still covered. After all, if you buy a car you don't have to buy petrol or oil from the dealer. The Manufacturer's Warranty still covers you. It's the same with your printer and the ink it uses.
Yes, your prints will be at least the equivalent of OEM cartridges - and, in some cases, the ink cartridge will last even longer.
Typically you will save between 10% and 50% over the cost of an OEM cartridge. The reason we can offer these tremendous savings is because our cartridges come straight from the factory cutting out the middle man, which helps us to keep our costs down without compromising quality.
